I am Pamela's brother. As far as I know, Pamela is doing well and living in Houston. This is the first time and place that I have ever made any comments about Pam. We have only occasional e-mail contact as our mother lives here and is in a nursing home. Yes, Pam's ET experiences shocked us all at first however we have always accepted Pam for who she is. That's how I knew her domain had been claimed by a Japanes company. Doing a Google search on her now does not bring out too much info. And now we learn she may be battling with Cancer. Hope that is not the case and that we learn from her in the near future. BTW, I too think she has a great voice; the lyrics in her songs were probably too... straight-forward for the popular market, maybe if she had used more metaphores? then again, Jazz has never had a big niche.
