Pamela Stonebrooke: Queen of the Reptilians

In early 2001, I was coming out of a divorce, the woman I wanted didn’t want me, and I met Pamela Stonebrooke.

For most people, Pamela was way off the map of normal. She openly claimed sexual relationships with reptilian alien entities that she said would materialize in her bedroom late at night. By day, she dressed in stylish outfits culled from vintage clothing stores. I don’t know what the reptiles preferred. Her personality was outgoing to a fault.

Somehow, we got in touch and started hanging out. Pamela had just ended a long relationship too, and we became friends. We had a lot of fun when she was a guest on Radio Misterioso. I helped Pamela with her computer and scanned artwork and promo portraits for her singing and modeling portfolio. We went out to lunch every week and complained about our personal problems to each other. And because I know what you’re thinking right now: No, nothing scandalous went on between us.

She had scads of articles written about her, which isn’t surprising considering her claims. Writers seemed to take her at her word, since she wasn’t defensive and generally possessed an upbeat attitude. Her stories were so weirdly lascivious that the article practically wrote itself. Her public persona and claims made her a target of vicious attacks and ridicule, but she always stuck to her story with a smile.

We went to the MUFON national conference in Irvine (30 miles south of L.A.) in July 2001 where she introduced me to abduction researcher John Mack, and we all rolled our eyes listening to Steven Greer’s tirade. Mack later wrote the introduction to Pamela’s book Experiencer: A Jazz Singer’s True Account of Extraterrestrial Contact, which was never published, but which was available online for a time.

For most of 2001 and part of ‘02, I worked on a show called The Conspiracy Zone, which ran on TNN for two seasons. My job was to suggest show topics, guests and talking points. Pamela was a natural and made a great impression on the whole staff, even though I don’t think that anyone believed a word of her story. They didn’t care as long as she made good television, which she did.

I accepted her accounts of dalliances with lizard aliens for the same reason that I believe at least some of the old-time contactees. They possibly had strange encounters which they shoehorned into visits with friendly space people. If anyone was standing in Pamela’s room late at night, I doubt that they would have seen anything unusual, but what was going on in her psyche was real enough, at least part of the time. Whether it came from outside her mind or not, or was a combination thereof is of course debatable.

Her former site at intergalacticdiva.com has been taken over by some Japanese cosmetics company. A page at CD Baby is still up (with links that no longer work) where you may be able to order her album Experiencer, and listen to a few tracks. She is a professional singer with an incredible voice, described as “an aggressive Billie Holliday chased with Shirley Bassey.”

Recently, I heard that she was undergoing treatment for cancer or some other life-threatening illness. If she or someone that knows her reads this, I’d like to know how she’s doing.

That’s it ! I give up. Reptilians get all the good chicks . Have a good New Years fella’s.

  2. Kenn Thomas Says:

Haha! Pamela once straightened my tie and declared herself my “fluffer” — a porn industry term that actually had to be explained to me later.

It must have been at Conspiracy Zone, but the episode in which she appears is not the one with me. She offers a question from the audience and there’s a guy sitting right behind her who appears as the spitting image of Bill Cooper!

(Like most people who will not even get the reference, I have no idea about its implications.)

I’ve always found it curious that the reptilians would send forth males to cross breed. It would make more sense to send a female in order to more easily recover any hybrid spawn. But then, the idea of doing a female lizard seems less sexy than vice versa.

I also remember rumors about a book deal that went bad for Pamela. She certainly seemed poised at the time to become as popular as David Icke, who reaped an incredible profit windfall with his take on reptilians (recently revealed by tax records because of a lawsuit he had with his publisher.)

That she might be ill is a terrible thing; not knowing is a frustration for everyone she intrigued. So yeah, hey, Pamela—should auld acquaintance be forgot?

The interview you did with Pam was good stuff. A classic, I would say…

Also, Pam’s album is brilliant. She has a great singing voice, is a talented songwriter. Dig her, where ever she may be.

  4. Greg Bishop Says:

    Mullpig,

Yeah I agree. I see it all the time here in L.A.

Happy New Year to you too!

  5. Greg Bishop Says:

    Kenn,

You obviously needed your tie stiffened.

I thought that Cooper was more interested in the “Intergalactic Bankers.”

  6. Greg Bishop Says:

    Adam,

Thanks for the compliment. I still thought that the interview was kind of giggly.

Good news! I was recently given her last known number, and plan to call this weekend.

Funny how things synchronize: You posted your Radio Misterioso interview with Pamela, and after hearing that I wanted to read more about her story. That’s how I knew her domain had been claimed by a Japanes company. Doing a Google search on her now does not bring out too much info.

And now we learn she may be battling with Cancer. Hope that is not the case and that we learn from her in the near future.

BTW, I too think she has a great voice; the lyrics in her songs were probably too… straight-forward for the popular market, maybe if she had used more metaphores? then again, Jazz has never had a big niche.

  8. Rinse n Repeat Says:

I knew Pamela in Los Angeles until she moved to Huston. I am curious if you have a follow up on her? I can only wish the very best for her. Please let me know.

    thank you.

  9. Greg Bishop Says:

    Rinse,

    I’ll try and call her.

  10. Rinse n Repeat Says:

Hi Greg: were you about to reach Pamela?

you can reply directly to me:
    mcherry@pacbell.net

    thank you much.

  11. JCGray54 Says:

Hello all. I am Pamela’s brother. As far as I know, Pamela is doing well and living in Houston. This is the first time and place that I have ever made any comments about Pam. We have only occasional e-mail contact as our mother lives here and is in a nursing home. Yes, Pam’s ET experiences shocked us all at first however we have always accepted Pam for who she is. Last I heard, Pam was doing some singing in a jazz club in Houston….Magnolia something I believe.
