Cassettes...I'd laugh a hearty and
condescending laugh, if I weren't
still working from open reel tapes
here at work...in any case, hearty
congratulations, and best wishes for
success and an ever-growing audiance.
( Terrific logo image, too, by the way. )

Greg, thanks for all Miles and your efforts. I've got over 300+ cassettes yet to rip when I get a larger place to setup a proper computer/communications room. I didn't get into the cd thing until well into the '90's and didn't have a VCR til '93 or a PC till '99. You're likely well ahead of the mass of humanity even in the US. Once again thanks for sharing all your fun with us.

Well thank F#*k for that, LOL. Like the guys above have already said, can't wait to hear these interviews. Must admit, I've missed the sound of Greg's voice interspersed with clunking, feedback, phones ringing at inopportune moments & the guaranteed sirens screaming past the window ( where the hell do you record the show anyways, the Gaza ? ). Looking Forward,

Hi Greg!

Wow this really is very exciting. I had no idea you did SIX ! interview with Bill Moore.

As for my apparent one track mind on the subject i do apologize. I am honestly not that sort of fellow.

It's just that i think Project Beta along with Hunt of the skin walker are the 2 more important "ufo" books written on the subject....period.

I'm not trying to be an ego booster for you its just that i wish i had attended your lectures when Project Beta was being released that i really regret missing since i live in Woodland Hills i could of easily seen the presentation in the LA area i just wasn't up on all that mufon stuff and this was before
UFO mystic for the most part.

Thank you for releasing those six interview and the final one once your article is published.

I know one of your day jobs Greg is in post production but i don't know if you have access to the specific equipment and time or skill set to laboriously transfer/ edit/ noise reduce and audio restoration that these little gems of the past should be given.

So I would like to offer my assistance to you. I have access to some very high end audiophile equipment. Specifically a Lynx L22 audio card for A/D conversion, High end 3 Head cassette decks either a Nakamichi CR-7E or possibly a Dragon. Or i could simply rent the old standby Tascam 3head cassette decks that almost ever radio station has from the good ol' days.

My plan would be All the audio transfers would take place at 24Bit 192KHz so we could squeeze ever bit of audio out of those old cassette tapes.

All editing and audio noise reduction/restoration would be done in that format so basically we would be doing future proof audio archival material.

The process is time consuming as you know and i do have a day job but i would be will to do this for nothing for you just to strike a friendship up with you and prove i really am interested in other topics then just Bill Moore and your Project Beta ;)

Well think about it

i can be contacted at gloomfrost@gmail.com

Thank again Greg for all your contributions to this wild and wacky field.

awdsmirk,

Don't worry. I'm not offended. If I had the $$ to improve the audio quality, I would. The fact that I like to do interviews live and unscripted in a semi-real "radio station" (which is run on a very thin shoestring) limits my options. I may also be a stick in the mud, since I have been doing cheapo radio for almost 10 years, first on a pirate FM station, then on the internet since late 2000.
