Aliens: “We’re Bigger Than Jesus Now”
According to a survey conducted for the release of a new X Files DVD (a Telegraph UK article does not mention the survey company) more Britons believe in UFOs, aliens and the supernatural than believe in God.
Can mass burnings of UFO and abduction books be far behind?

Maybe next year Sir Richard Dawkins will begin to attack the little guys on London bus ads
PS: The X Files movie was a HUGE disappointment.

I does seem that the desire to have alien entities contact us and resolve all our difficulties would rival the purpose of God… Since humans have been praying for a great many years, and most that I know feel the good Lord has not satisfied their humble requests for his mighty hand to set aside all woe - perhaps it’s merely a logical progression, and people are simply moving along to their next great hope replacing one amazingly skilled and unseen entity with another. No offense intended to those who believe in God. No offense intended to those who believe in helpful aliens. Not that anyone asked…
