Disclosing UFOs?

Researcher and writer Richard Thomas has the following to say about his feelings and views relating to when, or rather if, the official world will ever finally come clean on any big UFO secrets it may be hiding.

As Richard explains:

“Recently I had an interesting conversation with Tim Binnall for the new BoA: Audio spin-off series After Hours. We touched on many topics but perhaps the most controversial subject discussed was UFO Disclosure and why I think it will probably ‘never come.’ After I said this Tim went quiet for a moment. I think that I surprised him with my pessimism. Either he totally disagreed with me or he knew much of the audience would. So this fortnight in Room 101, I thought it might be a good idea to explain just why when it comes to UFO Disclosure with a capital ‘D’ (Government confirmation of an extraterrestrial presence) I’m still a bit of a doubting Thomas.”

And here’s the link to the rest of Richard’s post.

I also think that Disclosure is unlikely, but not for the reasons he states.

No one really knows what the government knows. Especially “the government.” I’ve seen no evidence of an evil cabal that Knows All. My own suspicion is that it doesn’t know all that much, and much of what people suspect the government knows is a toxic blend of disinformation, popular myth and wishful thinking..

If there is a real bombshell to disclose (and I think there may be), it probably has little to do with preventing embarrassment and much more to do with the byzantine security bureaucracy and the loss of information over time.
