The good news is that she's now pretty much full recovered and back home. Yeah, hospitals are high-risk places: about 12 years ago I went to visit a friend in hospital and I went down with chicken-pox (the one thing I never got as a child), and I was really sick. A piece of advice: as soon as she feels up for it, get her out of the hospital! A friend of my sister went to supposedly one of the best hospitals in Mexico city —for an ovary extraction— and she died last Saturday over an infection with a superbug she contracted in there! Those places are a health risk. Glad to read you’re wife is recovering from her medical ordeal, Nick.

A piece of advice: as soon as she feels up for it, get her out of the hospital! A friend of my sister went to supposedly one of the best hospitals in Mexico city —for an ovary extraction— and she died last Saturday over an infection with a superbug she contracted in there!
