Interview With A (Former) Man In Black

Drawing of a Man In Black by Albert K. Bender, who started it all

Paul Dale Smith of The Alien Seeker News has just posted an interview with a supposed real live Man In Black, whom he refers to as “Mr. Q.”

An excerpt:

Paul::Why are aliens and our Military working side-by-side?

Mr. Q: They are involved in many operations from HAARP, technology and DNA developments. I don’t even know the full scope of their unison together. My job was to interrogate witnesses of UFO events and to make it seem that their stories were not credible. MIBs are used for disinformation and mind deceptional techniques. Some of the alien MIBs use mind scrambling hypnotic devices in their vehicles.

My time is limited and I must go in a few minutes. I will give you some information that I do know and perhaps at a later time, we can discuss this further. Various alien races have watched over Earth, since its birth. Many variety of aliens have claimed Earth as a ‘territory’. It is now a territory that is broken up between various alien races. The American military made an agreement with an alien race to allow the aliens to conduct what you call ‘angel stops’. The abduction of humans for DNA experimentation. The American military in turn receives technical tidbits from their alien allies. Another alien race may be preparing territory claims on Earth and the powers of HAARP may be secretly used in this conflict. Certain individuals are given information to enlighten the masses by our alien allies. One of those individuals is Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry. Aliens are trying to give us a jump start to prepare for our future.

Is is just me, or does it sound like Mr. Q is steering Mr. Smith and his readers right down the path many of them are on anyway? I’d really like to ask this supposed MIB a few questions of my own.

P.S. This is Ufomystic’s 1000th post.

  1. disownedsky Says:

“mind deceptional”? Again, no way to tell this apart from a poorly written sci-fi story.

  2. BenDoverEsq. Says:

I just read Drew Hemphill’s comment about Kaspar Hauser and was reminded that there was a MIB of sorts in that case (a guy in a black cloak). I guess Bender is responsible for modern MIBs but I wonder if there is some sort of historical archetype for the MIB. Anyway, while this interview is almost certainly not with a real MIB and Bender’s reports of MIBs are questionable I think there is something to it all.
My thinking is along these lines- something gets in the public consciousness and even if the initial report is bogus things somehow manage to take on a strange reality. It’s as if our consciousness might be somehow generating this phenomena- or if not creating or helping to create it at least providing the form it takes as it is revealed to us. I think about the original Kenneth Arnold sighting where the craft were not saucer shaped. But they were reported as flying saucers. And all of a sudden you start getting all these credible reports of flying saucers. And if anyone has read Jenny Randles book on MIBs- I think there are plenty of credible reports (involving high strangeness) as well.

Greg — does this mean you’ll FINALLY read the Stargate Conspiracy by Picknett and Prince? haha. Gene Roddenberry was part of CIA mind control “psi-plasma” guru Dr. Andrija Puharich’s Stargate channeling.

  4. red pill junkie Says:

” Mr. Q is wearing a tight black t-shirt, black colored jeans, tennis shoes. When I met him he wore black sunglasses. During this interview, he took his sunglasses off. He is muscular and looks very athletic.”

Sheesh… not even the MIB were impervious to our current sloppy way of dressing ;-)

  5. crgintx Says:

Congratulations to All the fine contributors of UFOmystic on reaching 1000 posts. I’d be extremely wary of any and all ‘MIB’ whistleblowers these days unless they present a ton or more of evidence that can be independently corroborated by at least 3-5 unrelated information sources. This tale is interesting but seems more of the same disinfo being used by the US intelligence community used to confound the public about covert US military and intelligence activity.

  6. grthink Says:

I’m in full agreement with disownedsky — this reads like pretty adolescent sci-fi. But then maybe that’s what Mr Q WANTS us to think — “MIBs are used for disinformation and mind deceptional techniques.” Could be the MiB want to dicredit tales of their existence by circulating plainly bogus stories?

I can’t be the only person who noticed MR Q’s name fits the same naming convention as the MiB in the Will Smith film though, can I?

  7. Greg Bishop Says:

    disowned,

The reason I was interested is that the interviewee seems to know the history of the phenomenon and taps into the paranoia and known prejudices of UFO conspiroids. That raises my red flags and makes me wonder what is being accomplished, whether by the person who made it up, or the MIB, if he exists.

  8. Greg Bishop Says:

    Ben,

    Agree with you almost completely.

Saucers were reported before Kenneth Arnold, but as you say, it seems to have opened the floodgates. The error, as I remember, was that Arnold said that the chevron-shaped objects moved like “saucers when skipped over the water.”

UFOs seemed to come in a wide variety of shapes, though. This is still true, I think.

In an interview with Bill Moore in my original “Excluded Middle” magazine, he guessed (with some private talk with gov’t operative to back it up) that the MIB phenomenon was utilized by the government from time to time as an intelligence gathering tool, or used to be.

  9. Greg Bishop Says:

    Drew,

Right now, I’m reading Graham Hancock’s Supernatural, Dean Radin’s Entangled Minds, The Trickster and the Paranormal by George Hansen, essays on writing by Jack London, a book on the history of the Western US, and old issues of the Desert Rat Scrapbook. I guess I’ll get to the Stargate Conspiracy soon enough.

  10. Greg Bishop Says:

    crg,

That suspicion was at the top of my list. See my reply to “disowned sky.”

  11. Greg Bishop Says:

    grthink,

See my other replies, and the “Mr. Q” name was made up by the interviewer, not the supposed MIB.

  12. grthink Says:

To my discredit, I hadn’t read the full article before posting my comment, and went back and read the full thing before returning here. As I was readig it I too was struck with how it ties in with reports of MiB elsewhere — especially striking for me was the explanation of where they come from (South Pacific) which could be an explanation for how they’re described.

Also disarming was the way the interview started — the chuckling and good naturedness of their introduction did seem to ring true.

At the same time, I take everyhting I read now with a pinch of salt. If it’s true: amazing. If it’s not, then at least it’s a good example of how articles like this emerge which tie up lots of loose ends in the mythology of UFO/MiB reports.

  13. Greg Bishop Says:

    grthink,

Yeah, the way the guy spoke with the interviewer sounded just like some of the talks I’ve had with government intel people. This is not to say that this couldn’t easily be faked in person or on the page!

  14. drew hempel Says:

Wow talk about cross-wiring your brain: Hansen and Radin is like reading 3 little piggies and little red riding hood at the same time!
