Contactees!

Buck Nelson, who sold packets of Venusian dog hair

My favorite segment of UFO history is documented quite thoroughly at We Have Contact! For an internet site, this is probably the best one I’ve seen on the subject. There is also a link provided for a gallery of actual space brothers, including the ever-popular Ashtar, a spaceship builder named Ballerian, and another personal favorite, Mon-Ka of Mars (the site claims he’s from Saturn, though.)

Along these same lines, I remembered that J.C. Penney (the founder of the department store chain) is an ascended master, at least according to the I AM people:

Mark Prophet, in one of His recorded lectures in 1971 or 1972, announced that J. C. Penney attained His Ascension — in part due to His strong standards of ethics and honesty, which He passed on as foundation principles for His retail stores. He is was considered by many as one of the most prolific retail merchandising geniuses the world has ever seen.

Perhaps Mr. Penney sits alongside Ashtar at the galactic council. Kind of makes you think about where you’re going to buy your next pair of socks.

I wonder how much of the contactee belief system is lifted from Fredrick S Oliver’s 1905 “A dweller on Two Planets”?

It’s all there and then some: the vegetarianism, life on the other planets at a higher “vibrational rate”, gravitational levitation (spindles rather than saucers), holographic telephones, dark energy and matter, and more pretentious theosophy than you can shake a stick at.

    It’s also online at http://www.sacred-texts.com

And of course, we all know Walmart is Satan’s chain of stores ;-)

Saw these guys last night on History Channel (old show)-
Who was the guy who wore an Indian headdress-talked about Oreon (not Orion)?

    familiar with this?
Multimillionaire John Jacob Astor (IV), died on the Titanic in 1912 (friends with Tesla )
wrote “A Journey in Other Worlds”, an 1894 science fiction novel about “a fictional account of life in the year 2000 on the planets Saturn and Jupiter…. It contains much speculation about technological invention, including descriptions of a world-wide telephone network, solar power, air travel, space travel to the planets Saturn and Jupiter, and a plan to adjust the Earth’s axial tilt.
