Honored to have you comment here! Thanks for a great book. It really is inspirational to me, in a jackhammer-to-the-brain kind of way. You probably got an idea of my sensibilities from the post anyway. Outsiders with a burning desire to get their messages out to the world always fascinate me. There are definite parallels here with many UFO cultists.

Evidently the book also has appeal to people who don’t care about old comics. Of the book, Kurt Vonnegut said, ” The recovery from oblivion of these treasures is in itself a work of art.”

The visual impact is like being hit in the brain by a jackhammer. Once you see Hanks’ work, you are not likely to forget it.
