It does look a little like the figures at Abu Simbu, and what appears to be another niche slightly above and behind it is obscured by the rock face. Still, while I can accept Heyrdahl's notion that the Egyptians could have crossed the Atlantic in reed boats, I have my doubts about their crossing interplanetary space...but after seeing Richard Hoagland on last night's <i>Mysteries of the Crystal Skull</i> I'm uncertain...his hair is certainly not of this world!!! So, if the ancient pharaohs built the pyramids in Egypt, is it really surprising to find evidence of them having been on Mars? Much more plausible than bigfoot on Mars anyway. I guess we need to bring in the Egyptologists now, to give an expert opinion on which specific pharaoh is represented on this Martian outcrop... One is near the edge at the right and seems to wear an Old_kingdom crown, the ohter is more in the middle an it shows the face in profile.
