Hey Ellis
That's weird - can you remind me of Winston's email again, and I'll send him another email.
Best
Nick

Thanks for posting this.

Talk about rough! though. The finished article might look pretty from the air but on the ground it's woefully ragged. A poor imitation of circles I've been in.

Nick, the last time I spoke to Winston he said he hadn't heard from you re the 7/7 East Field formation he filmed forming mysteriously - the one that MW claims to know who made it.

Bruce:
The interview with Matthew was much more extensive, and I hope to have the whole thing transcribed and published in the near future. There's a great deal more about the paranormal experiences, synchronicities and much more.

The comments on paranormal experiences are interesting and would be more so, if more detailed. The damages done for the sake of
expressing yourself to someone's livelihood, let alone the lack of respect this demonstrates sours the whole piece for me personally....rationalizations aside ...after the fact..Maybe crop taggers is a more apt term...I hope they don't switch to spray paint....If they had gotten permission in advance...thats another story. Its an interesting footnote to the phenomenon.

RPJ:
I know studies have been done on the crop; but to what extent this has been done re the nutritional angle, I don't know. I'll ask around.

Thanks or the clarification Nick.

I would like to make another question: Has anyone tested if there's a change in the nutritional properties of the wheat used to create a circle? Does bread baked from wheat that came from a field where a crop circle appeared taste better than bread from regular wheat?

I dunno, it suddenly occurred to me that, if there really are weird things happening around the fields when the crops are being made by these people—or by some unknown force— that perhaps this affects the wheat in the long run aswell.

RPJ:

It is illegal, unless the makers get permission...

However, some farmers have earned (literally) thousands of UK Pounds by charging people to come into the fields and see the circles.

The other thing that a lot of people don't realize is that when crop circles are made, the crop is not destroyed. Rather, it still grows (the people flatten the corn; they don't snap it). And all the farmer has to do to retrieve the flattened corn is to lower the blades to the ground when it's being cut.

Yeah, I'm sure in TX there might be a few circle makers subjected to blasts from the occasional shot-gun!

Well, I have nothing against Circle Makers, but then again I'm not a farmer. I'm wondering if these guys economically compensate the owners of the fields where they perform their art/magick. After all, the only thing I don't find kosher about this whole business is that it's an illegal trespassing.

I suppose that's why you don't see many circle makers in places like Texas ;-)

Gavilan:
Certainly there are some formations rhat even the circle makers themselves know they didn't make. And there are a number of decades-old (and centuries-old) repports too.
I think it's important too, to remember that even a number of the human circle makers (such as Matthew, as per his words) are convinced that there is a paranormal/magical element to what they do and the manifestations that appear even in human-made circles.
