Listened to the show the other night. As
with most of Tims interviews I found it most Informative & enjoyable. It sparked off something I had totally forgotten about.I have a South African workmate who once told me a story involving his brother who was in the SA
Airforce at the time.Something about a
UFO retrieval in west Africa in 1987 if I remember correctly. When I started jotting some of the info down he pretty much ended the conversation. First thing monday morning I'll see if I can get anymore out of him. What made
me take interest is this guy is a humourless gentleman & has no interest in the UFO subject at all.

Sorry for this late reply, I'm just in the process of hearing Cristo's interview, and I'm in the part when he tells the case of an engineer who had a close encounter with the crew members of a UFO; I just wanted to point out three things:

*This case is the first thing mentioned in J.J. Benítez latest book <i>"El Hombre que susurraba a los Ummitas"</i> (The Man who whispered to the Ummites), Benitez interviewed this man personally several times, and it appears the craft the engineer saw landed had the famous (or is it infamous) <i>UMMO</i> sign <b>)+(</b>.

*When the engineer and the first crewmember entered the craft, it was revealed the purpose of the water they were carrying; apparently one of the "visitors" was injured. When the engineer asked what the matter was, the first crew member replied that his friend had been hurt durying the atmosphere entry of the craft. The engineer offered to take them to a hospital with his car, but the visitor politely refused, saying "No medics".

*The visitors were described as human (blonde too, I think), but slightly smaller in height (1.6 meters or so), wearing strange white "laboratory coats" (think "Dexter's lab" guys), no space suits or anything, that's why at first the engineer saw nothing strange with this experiece, until he saw the craft.

There are several illustrations of this case in Benítez book, which I'm sorry to report is not available on english —but hey, that's why I'm here for :-)

Well, that's it. I'll continue hearing the interview. Thanks to Cristo and Binall of their amazing effort.

"Are you really a Conway Twitty fan?"
Nah, just a smartass. I came across a picture of Conway Twitty and a gold "CT" dangling from his neck and felt it was too good a pic to pass up as a avatar. By the way, Greg would probably dig this more than you given his taste for weird music but there's a video on YouTube of Conway Twitty performing with the Residents (those giant eyeballs from San Francisco). Completely insane, though not as insane as me learning today that some conspiracy theorists think Boxcar Willie was involved with mind control experiments- LOL! On his Wikipedia page someone had even mentioned (though it was removed) that Boxcar was a reptilian- LMAO!

Thanks for the post, Nick. Glad to hear your readers are digging into this South African stuff.

BenDoverEsq: Yeah, we were having a big spam problem @ the foruma while back, but it is all settled now. Feel free to sign up and you'll be approved straight away. Thanks for the kind words about the interview.

Ben:

LOL, yes the username could well have caused the problem! Are you really a Conway Twitty fan? I may have to re-educate you on the finer points of good music vs. bad!

Listened to it last night and it was fantastic. So refreshing to not hear the same old cases rehashed. I particularly liked learning about the South African contactees.
By the way, I tried to register for Tim's message board months ago and never heard back- maybe it was the username I chose: ConwayTwittyFan4Life.
