The Aurora UFO
The alleged crash, in 1897, of a UFO at the little town of Aurora, Texas is certainly one of the more controversial cases within the annals of Ufology. Some see it as nothing more than a combination of hoax and folklore; while others are utterly convinced that a craft from another world slammed into the ground all those years ago.
And, if you’re interested in finding out more about the case, you can by clicking here. The link will take you to a TV production on the case that offers commentary and interviews with some of the investigators and players in the story.
Coincidentally, my father-in-law lives about 4 miles past Aurora; so whenever we are over there and pass through the town, I always cast a glance at the old cemetery where the “dead alien pilot” is rumored to be buried. So far, I have resisted a bit of clandestine, late-night digging…
I wonder what the penalty is for grave-robbing in Texas if the body isn’t human? Hmmm…
