		<description>My favorite thing about the Kecksberg story is the enigmatic shape of the craft--the lovely acorn.  Full of symbology and all that ancient sacred oak stuff is all contained sweetly.  The axis mundi, daur/door to the otherworld.  I love that.</description>

Yeah, that is the one area of the case, more than any other, that does admittedly leave things open and in somewhat of a, ahem, "gray" area. Indeed, if that's accurate then we can rule out satellite materials I think. However, if there is any chance the witnesses were mistaken in that aspect, then I think it could still be considered a man-made event.</description>

		<description>Nick, you might be right about it being  Soviet space debris. The only thing that's keeping me on the fence is that there were eyewitness reports of the object changing course and appearing to be intelligently controlled as it made it's way to Kecksburg.</description>
