Thanks, Nick-I wanted to cite a long
article on the Nazi saucer mythos that
I first read there about three-four years ago. I have a copy printed out
at home ( somewhere ) but can't recall
the author's name. Its one of the most
thorough analysis I've yet read of the
phenomena.

Craig:

The last I heard was that the Magonia site was being revamped and updated, so I'm guessing we'll see it back in the near future.

Frankly, I can never figure out what point Bruce Duensing is trying to make with his articles. He seems to be a very intelligent man but, for my money, his writing style is a strong endorsement of the KISS principle.

The second "well documented" and astonishing fact is that two U-Boats surfaced in South America, some four months after the war ended despite the fact, they were only capable of a 7,000 mile nautical range. A ridiculous cover story of "dropping off" crew members at home was the rationale however, this in turn led to an even more ridiculous theory that the Nazi's had built bases in the Antarctic

Maybe that could be more easily explained if we recall the rumour (with more base of credibility IMO) that the nazis built several hidden submarine bases in the Canary Islands. There was this rumour that an spanish diver discovered a partially submerged cave where several german U-Boats (some in fairly good condition) were stored; this is of course a rumour, but a base in th Canary Islands to refuel the U-boats makes perfect estrategic sense.

In fact, this black project conducted in scalar physics within the Reich was certainly strange, as one of the main ingredients in this ceramic dual centrifuge, which was, not surprisingly, the speciality of the strangely silent and aforementioned Nobel scientist, Dr Gerlach who speciality was "the fluorescence of mercury ions in a strong magnetic field" In other words, the behavior of a mercuric plasma, or the spin of ionised mercury.

Yeah, well, we all know that the sanskrit Vedas describe the Vimanas as vehicles that used mercury as their source of flight. Makes you wonder if someone has tried to examine the alleged "antigravity" properties of spinning mercury.

Interesting article. Let's wait for the final part.

There maybe some things in this that bear a closer look, but by and large
its not impressive scholarship.

Nick, do you happen to know what became of the Magonia page? ( Mr.
Chairman, I would like to state I
am not now, nor have I ever been a
member of the Pelicanist party.[wink])
