Robo-Bird

This isn’t a UFO and it didn’t have alien origins. But it’s highly strange, and for a while at least, it did fly. This particular project - that revolved around plans to build a robotic “spy-bird” - was ultimately cancelled. But, as our technology advances, we need to be very aware of the fact that just because weird things are flying around in our skies, it doesn’t mean they originated on some far-off world…

This corroborates further a blog post Graylien wrote a bit earlier at his site “Cabinet of Wonders”. Since we are acquiring the technology to produce small surveilance devices that can mimick birds or even insects, surely a more technologically advanced extraterrestrial civilization could have done that to investigate us right from the moment they arrived here.

So, why the need to be so… conspicuous?

I think many of us suspect the answer, because being conspicuous is part of their “game”. It’s all a weird orchestrated psycho-drama that employs teatricality and extravagant performances to imprint sublte messages in the collective unconscious.

Or maybe it’s just that, by being so evident, they have acquired the perfect mask. Kind of like a inverse-psychology thing: the more blunt they are in their performances, the more ridicule and denial the system infuses on those experiences and the witnesses.
