More Disclosure Stuff
A press release from something called the “Safespace Project” and Stephen Bassett’s XPPAC today announced that Robert Miles, the producer/ writer of the Fastwalkers documentary has sent his “Fastwalkers Congressional Update DVD, labeled ‘Top Secret’ to each member of the United States Senate.”
Apparently this is in order to force pressure for “disclosure” on UFO and “ET” matters by the U.S. government.
I almost hate to say it, because Bassett is a sharp guy and quite sincere in his dedication to the disclosure cause, but my guess is that the DVDs will either be thrown out, or laughed off. Until the UFO subject is at the top of the list for a majority of voters, there isn’t really any other choice for those who run for office.
This has been written about on ufomystic before, but unless there is a “plan” by any non-human entities to reveal themselves to us, no amount of grassroots campaigning is going to force the power structure to reveal what it knows, which is probably not much more than the rest of us. Perhaps Bassett and Miles just want the government to reveal that there is actually something to the UFO enigma, which is laudable, but if they have to admit that they don’t know what it is, what to do about it, or how to control it, what is the upside for those in power?
No, this probably isn’t going to happen soon.

Well, it is a commendable effort though. And I think a great opportunity was missed with the UN General Assembly that was held weeks ago. They could have given those same DVDs to representatives of all the countries that from the U.N.
Would’t have been great fun to watch Ahmadinejad shouting that the US government is withhelding important info about ETs??
And it could have gotten people talking about the subject. With the DVDs given to Congress, it only got them an obscure mentioning by the press that will soon be forgotten.

Hasn’t Bassett already talked about how in the past, when he has sent letters to members of Congress, that they never got any further than their secretaries?
I found it somewhat odd when I first read about them sending out the DVDs.
Why would it be any different this time around?
