No problem Red Pill Junkie, and Yards...
That is quite the intresting native account. Here's one from a older native fella I meet a few years ago. Him and his brother were coming up river from dropping their fish net. When they both watched as this huge creature came from the woods walking along the river bank. There was a stacked pile of logs in its way (approx.4' high)it easily stepped over it and as it stepped over he noticed it had emerald green eyes. Him and his brother freaked and paddled like madmen. He told me that he and his brother moved up the river so fast you'd of thought they had a motor on their boat. He hid in his house for 3 days when his brother finally came to visit, first thing he asked was did you see what I saw. He finally talked with his mom regarding the experiance and she laughted saying oh don't you worry about them they are not evil. She stated to him when I was a child and early in the mornings when picking berries we would see the harry wild man watch over us from a cliff above. His grandfather would tell him he shouldn't talk about the wild man as people would think he was crazy. This experiance happened on the southern part of Vancouver Island. On the western side of the island I was told by a old school mate about him and his friends finding huge foot prints in snow. It was the first snow fall of the year and more then normal fell so they were all happy. Near the tree line there was a huge field to which they proceeded to make snow men. When he noticed these huge foot prints heading to the centre of the field. About 4 of them followed the prints only to discover they ended in the middle of the field. Ufo stop or dimensional jump spot or sasquatch gets abducted. The questions go on; yet, it is not hard for me to accept that they have some evolvement with ufo's just as some of the poor humans that are forced to experiance the same. Which forces some to deal with a disbelief in ones own experiances even when it has happened. I do also believe that it is possible that the governments and some of their agencies are involved in similar dirty deeds to prevent the truth from being realized. Thanks for putting up with me. Peace with wisdom to all.

Glowing red eyes, like those acoounts made by mexican police officers that they were attacked by witches (!). They described them as having dark skin, glowing red eyes and covered on a cloak or something, and they were able to fly... There's a Youtube video of something that almost looks like a hooded figure flying taken in Monterrey. You guys might want to check it out.

Sorry, should've specified--in the cases of both lake monsters and sasquatches there seem to be two types: physical, which very well could be unidentified species, and paranormal, which are the ones with glowing red eyes that vanish into thin air. My quantum theory only applies to the paranormal ones. Sorry for the confustion, sasdave.

Also, it wouldn't be CREATED by the viewer, it would be given a certain form by the viewer. It was always THERE.

Anyway, peace.

Hi sasdave.

I really don't mean that ALL Sasquatch are the result of an unknown phenomenon that makes use of the person's cultural conditioning. I know of the footprints, I know of the hair samples, I know of the horrible smell these beings exude.

As I stated in some other comment thread, we all would like to keep our Bigfoots hairy and bipedal and our Flying Saucers round and metallic. It would still fit neatly in an Euclidian interpretation of the Universe, not violating our laws of physics (well, at least not as much as to throw them to the trash can).

But there are a few cases when Bigfoots are seen and do not leave tracks, where bright lights are seen along with the beasts. Those cases make no sense from a "paleontological" point of view. Maybe those cases have nothing to do with the real mistery hominds that wander the north american woods. But they deserve our attention.

Incidentally, I once read a story about an old indian that wrote a letter to a newspaper journalist (canadian) with an interest in the Sasquatch (during the mid XXth century I presume). The indian told him that when he was young he enjoyed going to hunt in the woods with his faithful dog, and one day his dog entered a small cave and began dragging what the indian thought was a young bear. He waited with his rifle ready and when the dog came out he fired. When he came to inspect his prey he realised in utter horror that it wasn't a bear but a young white boy badly wounded by his shot. The boy began wailing and from a distance something houled back getting closer and closer. After a moment the indian said a big female Sasquatch, a terrible giant like nothing he had ever seen came out of the woods, carrying what looked like a "serpent" but turned out to be the intestines of an animal.
When the female Bigfoot came near the wounded boy, after a while she turned and faced the indian saying "You hurt my friend" in a native tongue (!). The indian understood and using the same dialect he answered that it had been an accident, that he had mistaken the boy for a bear and he was deeply sorry.
After that the female Sasquatch lifted the boy with only one arm, and began a kind of chanting and dancing in front of the amazed indian. She finished the chanting pointing the "serpent" toward the man and saying "Shiwas! You will never hunt a bear again.", and she left.

The indian finished his letter telling that after that encounter something happened to him, he was a young powerful man but sudenly all his energy left him and he passed the rest of his life stuck on a chair and unable to hunt again, not willing to venture to the forest for fear of encountering that "Wild Woman". His dog became fearful too.

Cool huh? :-)

I read this account on a book by an italian investigator: Renzo Cantagalli's "Sasquatch: Anthropological Enigma". Has anyone heard of something simmilar?

The thought that these grand creatures are created by the viewer is pretty sad. Especially if one (self)had never heard or seen anything like it before. So the next conclusion is a very vivid imagination. Some Natives believe them to be only spirit beings. Yet, neither of the above leave foot prints. Infact I was ribbed and laughted at by an older friend of mine when the subject of my sighting of a sasquatch came up. Til his wife said to him; don't you remember those huge footprints we seen while walking, that were going up a hill of sandstone. So this was seen by more then one person and one with a bad memory. The reason I believe is for one I've seen one and from experiances of others that have had experiances that are the same; yet, differant in minor ways. One day I hope to visit the location of the foots in stone; eventhough, it is not neccesary for me to prove their reality even if
many believe them to be visions of a idiot's mind. They are here even if they have the ability to do a dimensional shift like some ufo's appear to do and that doesn't mean they are created by the viewer. Truth can set you free or put you in a differant dimension that you wished you never experianced.

"Perhaps paranormal phenomenon are some type of wave/particle creature (electromagnetic?) that need to be seen to exist. And perhaps, like the particle/wave in the experiment, their exact form depends on the person looking. (That always nifty quote from the Mothman movie–”What do you look like?” “It depends on who’s looking.”)"

I've been thinking about those same possibilities. Especially after watching "Taken" on tv. That could explain also the Skinwalker phenomenon. Indians feel they are malevolent wizards but that's only as valid an explanation as ours to saying UFOs are intergalactic vehicles, and so our cultural conditioning determines the "materialization" of the phenomenon.

Kind of a cosmic Schrödinger's cat experiment huh? :-)

Sort of in intense pain right now guys (pills not working again, and CURSE THOSE STAIRS, WHY isn't there an elevator here?), so don't know how coherent this is going to be, but...

The cases of "different" phenomena appearing in the same place may not be "different" at all.

Strangely enough, I relate it to quantum physics.

No, stick with me.

The basis of quantum physics was an experiment attempting to figure out if a certain particle is, indeed, a particle or if it is a wave. When put through a particle testing thing (sorry, exact terms escaping me at the moment) it came out as a particle; when put into a wave thing it came out as a wave. Well, it can't be both, can it? So it was decided that perhaps it was neither particle nor wave until the observer--in this case the scientist--intended it to be. So when he put it into a particle-thingy, it came out as a particle because he was looking for particles; vice versa with waves.

Another big quantum theory is that perhaps the Universe orchestrated the development of life because it needs observers to exist. It needs to be seen to achieve any kind of order, seen by intelligent life. This strikes me as extremely similar the end of Nick's book "Three Men Seeking Monsters", the portion that begins, "It is a realm where believing in something makes it so..."

I mean, this phenomenon (intent affecting reality) has been proven in the lab. So perhaps cases like this are the same phenomenon, not two different ones collaborating or something--as in, some people see a Bigfoot, some a UFO, others an angel, etc.

It's not a different creature; it's just different people looking.

Anyway, I hope all that babbling made some sort of sense...once again, tough night for me.

Drew,
Your thought sounds like it could make sense; yet, fear usually comes after the siting(s). Personally I'd hope your opinion was the right answer. I think that your giving Homeland security more credit then is due. Yet, they do matrix to cover the real deceit they are involved in. Holograms don't leave footprints or the sense of being watched in the woods. That's just part of my take on the this subject. When you've seen one of these creatures cross your path it would probably be easier to believe in a dimensional convergence if that even is a reality. I believe H.S. has nothing to do with this creature, believe it or not.

Well I think that some UFO sightings are more "blair witch" type projections of fear turned into holographic projection and I would say the same goes for big foot.

I think that big foot has more to do with the ancestoral roots of human perception when protosapiens relied on auditory rather than visual dominance. The inner ear interacts with the cerebellum to create holographic projections.

Since military UFO technology uses electrogravity propulsion based on ionization of chemicals then certainly an "aura" or three-dimensional holographic projection will be created, if only as exhaust.

Ionization of the brain chemicals through the inner ear is caused by the vagus nerve resonating and transducing the hormones of the kidneys and liver, mainly. Anger and fear are the reverse reactions to too much stimulation of these organs and also the more common reactions to paranormal experiences.

Synchronicity is just the byproduct of resonance through inner ear overtones with the formless awareness that bends spacetime. The military already is using the "brain port" technology for paranormal proprioreception holographic powers which can potentially be directly connected with a global technology systems (i.e. drone craft).

The recent book "Nanotechnology and Homeland Security" reveals the direction of this holographic synchronization or global convergence -- the actual Matrix plan.

Synchronicity is just the byproduct of resonance through inner ear overtones with the formless awareness that bends spacetime. The military already is using the “brain port” technology for paranormal proprioreception holographic powers which can potentially be directly connected with a global technology systems (i.e. drone craft).

The recent book “Nanotechnology and Homeland Security” reveals the direction of this holographic synchronization or global convergence — the actual Matrix plan.
