Genuine UFO Contactee: Play Now | Play in Popup | Download
Here’s a strange one. This “Marty Quinn” dude sounds like a off-brand version of Walter Brennan. Once again, I can’t find anything on this artist, but we’re back to the chipmunk aliens again.
From the references to physical examination and missing time, this was probably recorded during the abduction craze of the mid-1980s. Although this is an abduction song, the lyrics and title declare that Quinn’s a “genuine contactee.” You can’t have everything.
Perhaps the name is a sly reference to the Quinn-Martin production company, who brought us such TV fare as Streets of San Francisco, and The Invaders. More on The Invaders next time.
