Flying Saucer Music #13
There were (and are) so many groups going by the name “Mello-tones” that I haven’t been able to conclusively locate which Mello-tones recorded this gospel song. It sounds like it was recorded in the mid-to late 1950s. It has been rereleased on a collection called There Will Be No Sweeter Sound: Columbia-Okeh Post-War Gospel Story ‘47-’62.
Have at it if you have any more info on this particular group.

A great addition to your playlist would be The Martian Hop. Check it out.

Stogie,
I have that one, and may post it soon, even though it’s a little on the “normal” side for my taste!
