McKenna's line "you get elves, everyone does" certainly seems not to be the case if we're going on a literal trip here... Anyone got an audio with Mario? My understanding is that it essentially costs the owner nothing to sell a book through them. The only costs involved would be the time and labour involved in digitizing the book to create a PDF. I might even volunteer to do so in exchange for a free copy if the guy doesn't have the skills or can't find anyone else to do it. As this is something of a specialist book I'd have no problem paying extra for a larger format, color photos and quality binding.
