You will find Rob Riggs’s book “In the Big Thicket” interesting. It describes numerous cases where Bigfoot and Ghost Light activity have both been seen in the “Big Thicket” area of Texas, and demonstrates a connection. There are a lot of these hot-spot areas like that.

I myself have not seen these balls of light or ghost lights. I’ve seen a sasquatch, one of those huge triangle craft that were mainly spotted in britain. These sightings were on Vancouver Island. I have heard of a few ball type craft or lights by a few locals. One was from a friend who was over looking a small lake in town. He heard something like a sonic boom noise and seen this huge ball of light flying through the air; thinking it was a meteor. He said it hit the center of the lake. The weird thing he said it hit the lake with a bang, but it made no ripples in the water. Personally, with all that I’ve heard or seen, this island is not only a hot spot. But one has to question those in power, as our sanity is always at question when it comes to these subjects even if they are real.

It could be. However, I think that if they were trying to save the earth, and could undertake some form of contact, then why not make their views explicit, instead of just instilling in the abductees images of atomic explosions, etc.?

Of course, it could be that they can only contact us in an abstract fashion and not in a way that we define contact.

Since many abductees report being told ecological messages of dire consequences to the Earth unless humanity changes its actions, maybe the primary purpose of the Ghost Lights is to warn mankind about the damage it’s doing to the Earth? Maybe, if the GL’s are indeed intelligent, they’re trying to save the Earth through the only means they know how, i.e. communicating through “abduction” accounts.

Ghost lights ususally stay in the same place for years, or centuries. Perhaps these “entities” in fact live in those locales, or need whatever energy or conditions are present at the site to manifest in a way that is percieved by us as a light. I am not aware of any abduction-type phenomena associated with ghost light locales, but perhaps different intelligences use different methods to “get through” to our awareness.

You are spot-on: the manifestation of the “Grays” may be exactly the same as the manifestation of “Bigfoot” in the Big Thicket, as far as the links with the Ghost Lights are concerned.

We may indeed have alien visitors (by alien I mean truly alien to us but not necessarily extraterrestrial), and whether we call them Tulpas, Cormons, thought-forms, or whatever, I believe that many encounters with “ETs” “man-beasts” etc., are directly linked with something that can manifest to us in ways that are culturally acceptable to us.

Interesting thread, here in Salem Oregon there are repeated “Ghost light” reports just down the street from where I work. In fact I drive past the place every night. Supposedly the light travels from Jori Zahn’s Body Piercing Boutique (and coffee shop), crosses the road and disappears above Sybil’s Omelets. (They have decent omelets and excellent fish and chips.) I look for the damn thing every night but so far I have been disappointed.

The conceit here is that Jori Zahn’s windows are covered with paintings of UFOs, Greys, the Heads of Easter Island, pyramids and other sundry occult imagery.

Maybe I just need to hunker down and investigate it myself. Anyone got a magnometer I can borrow?

And a lot of the actions and movements of the lights…such as the Bragg Road Ghostlight Rob Riggs talks about in “In the Big Thicket” (Texas)…seem as though they are interacting with the humans who are seeing them…as if there is, indeed, a sentience there.

And, in the case of Big Thicket lights, people have supposedly seen the lights sometimes “morph” into things zooform…even “into” sasquatch-like creatures.

Then again, though, its probably just owls.

I’m sure that as with UFOs, that ghost lights could have several origins. I do find it interesting, however, that there are a number of cases on record where GL’s respond in the presence of people - or where they follow the same “journey” across a particular location.

On the latter point, there is an old British military file declassified back in the 80s that talks about something called the “Dartmoor Floating Light” that was seen regularly following the same, identical route over a number of nights around 1915. In other words, its actions didn’t sound random.
