Greg’s Occasional Pic of the Moment #2

In my profile it’s mentioned that I’d hoaxed a UFO on a camping trip. Here is the proof. I tied a couple of green lightsticks to some balloons that were carefully hidden in the car (along with a helium tank) anchored it to the ground with fishing line, and stole away from the group one night to put it together. The setup was very effective, as the wind spun the two lights around and wobbled them in the light breeze. This was an exposure of about 10 or 15 seconds from about 200 yards away. The ruse fooled my friends for about 15 minutes until I started giggling.
Now that I have admitted to perpetrating a false UFO sighting, I’ll never be believed if I happen to see something in the sky that I can’t explain.

Howdy Greg,
SMiles here … I am so excited about this new venue for your (and Nick’s) extraordinary writing. I can’t wait to watch this site unfold and evolve.
Regarding this post …
Yes Greg, you’ve discredited yourself in less than 5 posts - good job!
I was THERE when this hoaxing occurred. But this is the first time I’ve ever seen any photographs of “The Thing”. I remember the sighting a bit differently - that’s human perception for ya.
Keep em comin!

Ah, I remember this dastardly hoax well. In fact, you may recall, I was your accomplice, for no other reason than I happened to be in the right place at the right time, and you said “pssssst, come over here, we’re gonna fool these dupes and make UFO history all in one fell swoop. You, Adam, will be George Hunt Williamson, to my George Adamski. We’ll be famous, I tell you, famous!”
That’s cool you actually have a photo of the hoax. Somebody should also post that photo of SMiles sleeping with you doing the hypnotic hand movements in front of his face. That was also another classic moment in kookdom.
Out.

Miles, the reason you remember it differently is that I made post-hypnotic suggestions (see Adam G’s comment.)
Gorightly, you have just revealed the other part of our plan, and now it’s ruined. RUINED, I tell you!
